Do I need a passport?
If travelling from the US, a passport isn't required since it's considered a domestic flight.
Are children welcome?
We absolutely love your little ones, but space is limited so unless we have spoken with you directly we would like to keep this an adults only event. They’re more than welcome to join the fun the next day at the Tornaboda!
Can I bring a plus one?
If you have been permitted to bring a guest, your invitation will include either your guests name or a +1 notation. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family only. Thank you for understanding.
What if I can't make it?
Given that this is a destination wedding, we understand not all our guests will be able to make it. If you are 100% sure you cannot travel to Hawaii, we ask that you kindly let us know as soon as possible.
What is the dress code?
We’ll be celebrating oceanside in beautiful Hawaiʻi, so think elegant, elevated, and breezy. Choose polished formalwear in lightweight fabrics that feel comfortable in warm weather.
For women:
Maxi or midi dresses, chic jumpsuits, in flowy fabrics like chiffon, silk, satin, or linen. Tropical prints, bright colors, and jewel tones are encouraged. Heels, wedges, or dressy sandals are perfect.
For men:
Lightweight suits or slacks with a button-down or linen shirt. Jackets are welcome but not required. Neutral or coastal tones like tan, gray, navy, or soft pastels fit the vibe beautifully.
Kind request:
Please avoid wearing white or ivory outfits (including white or cream suits) so the bride and groom can shine.
RSVP Information
Your RSVP lets us know you are in! Please RSVP as soon as possible. The guest count is needed early on to plan wedding reception and ceremony accommodations.
Does everyone have to stay at the same hotel or resort?
You’re welcome to book lodging wherever you’d like, though we recommend the Waikiki area. The bride and groom will be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort in Waikiki and welcome guests who would like to join them there. For those seeking other options, Airbnb also offers affordable condos nearby.
What days are we flying in?
Savannah & Mando will arrive on July 14, 2026. They kindly request that all members of the wedding party plan to be on the island no later than the evening of July 16, 2026, in order to attend the rehearsal dinner.
What’s the itenerary?
An official itinerary will be shared as the wedding approaches. Festivities will conclude on July 18, 2026, with a happily ever "after party". We encourage guests to extend their stay, take advantage of their time on the island and continue exploring afterward to make the most of their vacation. Savannah & Mando will also be planning activities such as tours, a beach day, luaus, hikes, nightlife and more. Guests are warmly welcome to join in!
Do I need a rental car?
Waikiki is very walkable, and ride-shares (Uber/Lyft), taxis, and shuttles are easy to use. If you’d like to explore beyond Waikiki (like North Shore beaches or hikes), a rental car is a good idea. Be sure to check for parking rates at your hotel.
